- Images are for representation purposes only. The actual size may differ from those shown -NOT ALL CLASSROOMS HAVE THE SAME SIZE WINDOW.
- IMPORTANT: Measuring accurately is critical to get the correct size for your classroom window. Before you order, please read the instructions about how to measure and review our "How To" picture. The shade pictured is only one of our standard sizes.
- Fits a Variety of Window Sizes – Standard or Custom: Our shades are available in 9 standard sizes commonly found in schools and universities. We also offer custom sizes for sidelights, media centers, and entranceways. IMPORTANT - MEASURE CAREFULLY TO ENSURE ACCURACY FOR STANDARD AND CUSTOM SIZES: Please add 3" to your glass width and 5" to your length before choosing your size to ensure a proper fit.
- Fast & Secure Emergency Protection: In a lockdown, speed matters. Our patented quick-release strap allows the shade to drop instantly. Tabs at the bottom secure it in place without fumbling or delay—no tools, no extra steps, just fast coverage when it counts most.
- Reliable Blackout Coverage: Crafted from industrial-grade blackout polyester, these shades completely block visibility from the outside—keeping students and staff out of sight and safe. Fabric is flame-retardant and meets NFPA 701 safety standards.
- Simple, No-Tool Installation: No drilling, screws, or special hardware needed. Each shade installs easily using strong hook-and-loop adhesive strips. Set up in minutes—just peel, stick, and press into place.
- Proudly Made in the USA: Every ALP Lockdown Shade is manufactured at our facility in New Jersey, ensuring top-quality craftsmanship and reliable performance. Support American-made safety solutions.
