Operation & care
The Petromax Charcoal Chimney XL is filled with grill charcoal or briquettes as needed and placed on a fireproof surface, such as a concrete slab or directly on the grill. Solid fire starters are placed under the chimney to ignite the coals from below. Once the fire starters have burned out and the coals are fully glowing, they are poured into the grill.
