  • Vintage Creamer, Green Leaves Pattern by Mitterteich, Melon-Shaped German Porcelain Tableware, Spring Serveware, Nature Theme, (Discontinued)
  • Made in Germany
  • Vintage:  1945 - 1960
  • Details:  This is such a charming creamer from Mitterteich, a renowned Bavarian porcelain maker.  It has delicate green leaves on a thin branch, same design on both sides.  The porcelain is ribbed / melon-shaped which gives it a very "Old World- Victorian" look.  There are gold accents on the handle, the rim and the small swirled foot.  The bottom stamp has the Mitterteich logo that reads:  "Mitterteich Bavaria, Green Leaves, Germany 018".  Based on the stamp we were able to date this piece to between 1945 and 1960.  Hand Washing is strongly recommended to maintain the pattern and condition.  If you're collecting this pattern, this is a great addition.  Gorgeous for a Spring get together.
  • Materials:  Porcelain
  • Dimensions:  4.75 inches Tall, approx. 3.0 inches in Diameter (at its widest point). Holds 14oz.
  • Condition:  Vintage - Used.  Excellent Condition.  There are no cracks, chips, or scratches.  Very clean inside, looks barely used.  The leaves are slightly lighter than they appear on the pictures.  Please review all pictures and make sure you love this item before purchasing, we can't accept returns.  Please remember these are VINTAGE and ANTIQUE items, they are NOT new, every effort has been made to show any scratches, wear  and imperfections.

Mitterteich has a very extensive history going back to 1887, when Ludwig Lindner opened the very first porcelain factory in the town of Mitterteich, in Bavaria, Germany .  From 1895 until 1917 the factory was taken over by a London based group, Max Emanuel & Co., a glass and porcelain retailer who actually contracted with other suppliers for their products. Finally in 1917, it became "Porzellanfabrik Mitterteich AG", a name which became famous worldwide and lasted until 2005.  Unfortunately, in August 2005 the company filed for bankruptcy and closed down in 2006.
