Hammock for Bearded Dragons, Blue Heaven Batik Fabric with Suction Cup Hooks

These hammocks by Carolina Designer Dragons provide a comfortable, elevated vantage spot that bearded dragons are known to enjoy in their houses. These hammocks also feature the same “hand-sewn in the U.S.A.”, machine-washable benefits as the Chaise Lounges by Carolina Designer Dragons. The sewn-in internal batting gives a comfortable feel for your bearded dragon and won’t get lumpy after machine washing. Hammock size measures 16” x 16” x 22” and comes with three suction cup hooks; rated for 3 pounds. We are now including these suction cup hooks instead of the adhesive hooks because more people use glass style cages than the wood or melamine style cages. We do sell the adhesive hooks separately for use with the wood or melamine style cages. We tried other hammocks on the market that have suction cups grommeted to the hammock. What we found was that to clean the hammock, you had to pull the suction cups off the side of the cage. Over time, this decreased the effectiveness of the suction cups to the point that they didn’t work. Then, since they were physically attached to the hammock, the entire hammock went into the garbage. Some other hammocks on the market are made from a plastic mesh or seagrass, not something you want to just throw into the washing machine. So when they get soiled (poop), you end up having to scrub them clean by hand with a small brush; reserved just for this task. When positioning your hammock consider the height of your hammock in relation to your dragon. You want the front curved edge to be low enough for your dragon to climb into. This may include the use of a habitat accessory such as a Natural Habitat Rock to climb onto first. Habitat accessories are available separately from Carolina Custom Cages, a division of Carolina Designer Dragons, Inc.
