Precision Threading Die - M4 x 0.7, 6H Tolerance by VLKEL

A Gewinde-Grenzlehrdorn is a blend of a Gutlehrdorn and an Ausschusslehrdorn. The Ausschuss side, marked by a red ring, should not screw into a cut thread by hand without force. If it does, the thread is subpar. The Gut side should screw in smoothly. If it doesn't, the thread is faulty. The maximum allowable turns for the Ausschuss side is two. Beyond that, the thread is unacceptable. The reference temperature for parts and gauges is 20°C. VÖLKEL offers a factory calibration certificate upon request. Independent lab calibration follows DIN, ISO, ANSI standards on IAC-Gewindescanner.

• Gewinde-Grenzlehrdorn Functionality: A blend of Gutlehrdorn and Ausschusslehrdorn
• Identifying the Flawed Side: The flawed side of the Gewindelehrdorn is marked with a red ring
• Testing the Good Side: The good side of the Gewindelehrdorn should screw into the cut thread of a workpiece by hand, without excessive force
• Testing the Flawed Side: The flawed side of the Gewindelehrdorn should not screw into the cut thread more than two turns by hand, without excessive force
• Reference Temperature: A reference temperature of 20°C applies to both workpieces and gauges
