Fleas, ticks and mosquitoes are more than just a nuisance, they can be deadly. ShieldTec™ Plus kills adult fleas, ticks and mosquitoes, prevents eggs and larvae from developing into adults, and repels new pests for complete and total flea and tick control for dogs. ShieldTec Plus contains two active ingredients to stop troublesome pests. Permethrin kills and repels adult fleas, ticks, mosquitoes and lice for up to four weeks, and pyriproxyfen insect growth regulator destroys eggs and larvae to prevent new infestations. ShieldTec Plus is for use only on dogs. DO NOT USE ON CATS. How to Apply Only For Dogs Weighing more than 5 lbs and over 12 weeks of age Remove the tube from the package. Hold the tube upright and twist off the cap. Invert the tube overthe dog and use the open end to part the dog's hair.Apply one tube of product as a spot to the skin at three different locations along the dog's backbetween the shoulder blades and base of the tail. Squeeze tube to apply all of the solution to thedog's skin.As with all flea and tick control products, this product should be used as part of a program aimed atreducing flea populations in the dog's environment (bedding, carpets, kennel, yard).
