Rokinon AF 35mm F1.8 Auto Focus Full Frame Lens for Sony E

The Rokinon AF 35mm F1.8 lens for Sony E-mount cameras is a compact, fast, and versatile wide-angle prime that meets the demands of both professional creators and advanced enthusiasts. With its full-frame 35mm field of view and a bright F1.8 aperture, this lens is perfect for everything from portraits and street photography to travel and low-light shooting. Its optical design includes 10 elements in 8 groups, featuring 2 Aspherical and 2 High Refractive Index elements. Combined with Ultra Multi-Coating (UMC), it reduces chromatic aberration, flare, and ghosting, delivering clear, high-resolution images across the frame—even wide open. The circular 9-blade diaphragm produces soft, natural-looking bokeh ideal for isolating subjects and enhancing depth. Autofocus is handled by a fast, quiet, and highly accurate stepping motor (STM), fully compatible with Sony’s phase and contrast detection systems. The lens also supports manual focus override for precise control when needed. With internal focusing, there's no physical extension during focus, making it well-suited for video work. Built for real-world use, the Rokinon AF 35mm F1.8 is weather-sealed to resist dust and light moisture. A Custom Switch lets you assign either manual focus or aperture control to the focus ring, expanding its creative flexibility. Additional functions can be unlocked via firmware updates using the optional Rokinon Lens Station. At just 7.4 ounces and 2.5 inches long, this lens is the smallest and lightest full-frame AF 35mm F1.8 currently available for Sony E-mount—perfect for photographers and videographers on the move. Included in the box: front and rear lens caps, removable petal-shaped lens hood, soft carrying pouch, user manual, and warranty. Designed to deliver premium optical quality in a portable, user-friendly form.
