• GORE-TEX® membrane contains over 9 billion microscopic pores which are approximately 20,000 time smaller than a drop of water, but 700 times bigger than a molecule of moisture vapor. So while water in it's liquid state can't penetrate the GORE-TEX membrane, the boot still remains breathable.
• Ortholite is an open-cell PU foam with great resistance to compression set (less than 5% compression set). The open cell PU structure provides exceptional breathability, and the formulation also includes 5% recycled rubber content as well, providing enhanced rebound while lowering the impact on the planet at the same time.
